1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using VOLUN, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform.
2. Platform Description
VOLUN is a marketplace connecting volunteers, organizers, and sponsors for community projects. We are a platform, not an employer, contractor, or agent for any user.
3. User Types and Responsibilities
3.1 Volunteers
- Must be at least 16 years old (18 for certain events)
- Provide accurate information during registration
- Honor commitments to events
- Accept that volunteer work is not employment
- No-shows may result in strikes and account suspension
3.2 Organizers
- Must be approved by VOLUN administrators
- Responsible for event planning, safety, and management
- Must verify volunteer attendance accurately
- Cannot use platform for commercial labor
- Agree to platform's code of conduct
3.3 Sponsors
- Must be approved by VOLUN administrators
- Must be legitimate businesses or individuals
- Responsible for fulfilling reward commitments
- Must verify redemptions honestly
- Rewards are gifts, not compensation for employment
4. Strike System
- Volunteers who register but don't attend receive strikes
- 3 strikes results in account suspension
- Strikes expire after 12 months
- Appeals can be submitted to support
5. Rewards and Exchange Rates
- Rewards have no cash value
- Exchange rates (MXN/USD) are locked at event completion
- VOLUN is not responsible for sponsor fulfillment of rewards

7. Disclaimers
VOLUN is not responsible for:
- Event safety or outcomes
- Sponsor fulfillment of rewards
- User conduct at events
- Any damages or injuries
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Quintana Roo, Mexico.
